194 prakāśaś cāyam iti/ ayam iti puruṣasvabhāvāt prakāśād vyavacchinatti, kriyārūpaḥ prakāśa iti yāvat/ etad uktaṃ bhavati --- yā yā kriyā sā sā sarvā kartṛkaraṇakarmasaṃbandhena dṛṣṭā/ yathā pāko dṛṣṭaś caitrāgnitaṇḍulasaṃbandhena yathā vā prakāśanam/ tathā ca prakāśo+api kriyeti tayāpi tathā bhavitavyam/ saṃbandhaś ca bhedāśrayo nābhede saṃbhavatīty arthaḥ/ kiṃ ca svābhāsaṃ cittam ity agrāhyam eva kasyacid iti śabdārthaḥ/ syād etat/ mā bhūd grāhyaṃ cittam/ na hi grahaṇasyākāraṇasyāvyāpakasya ca nivṛttau cittanivṛttir ity ata āha --- svabuddhīti/ buddhiś cittaṃ, pracārā vyāpārāḥ, sattvāḥ prāṇinaḥ, cittasya vṛttibhedāḥ krodhalobhādayaḥ svāśrayeṇa cittena svaviṣayeṇa ca saha pratyātmam anubhūyamānāś cittasyāgrāhyatāṃ vighaṭayantīty arthaḥ/ svabuddhipracārapratisaṃvedanam eva viśadayati --- kruddho 'ham iti //4.19//

ekasamaye cobhayānavadhāraṇam/ svābhāsaṃ viṣayābhāsaṃ cittam iti bruvāṇo na tāvad yenaiva vyāpāreṇātmānam avadhārayati tenaiva viṣayam apīti vaktum arhati/ na hy avilakṣaṇo vyāpāraḥ kāryabhedāya paryāptas tasmād vyāpārabhedo+aṅgīkartavyaḥ/ na ca vaināśikānām utpattibhedātirikto+asti vyāpāraḥ/ na caikasyā evotpatter avilakṣaṇāyāḥ kāryavailakṣaṇyasaṃbhavaḥ/ tasyākasmikatvaprasaṅgāt/ na caikasyotpattidvayasaṃbhavaḥ/ tasmād arthasya ca jñānarūpasya cāvadhāraṇaṃ naikasmin samaya iti/ tad etad bhāṣyeṇocyate --- na caikasmin kṣaṇa iti/ tathā coktaṃ vaināśikaiḥ ---

"bhūtir yeṣāṃ kriyā saiva kārakaṃ saiva cocyate" iti/

tasmād dṛśyatvam etac cittasya sadātanaṃ svābhāsatvam apanayad draṣṭāraṃ ca draṣṭur apariṇāmitvaṃ ca darśayatīti siddham //4.20//
