अथ मदः—

हर्षोत्कर्षो मदः पानात् स्खलदङ्गवचोगतिः ॥ २१ ॥
निद्रा हासोऽत्र रुदितं ज्येष्ठमध्याधमादिषु ।

यथा माघे—

भावहारि हसितं वचनानां कौशलं दृशि विकारविशेषाः ।
चक्रिरे भृशमृजोरपि वध्वाः कामिनेव तरुणेन मदेन ॥864
इत्यादि ।

ज्येष्ठमध्यमाधमेषु क्रमशो निद्राहासरुदितान्युक्त्वा मध्यममुदाहरति भावहारीति865 ।

  2. In the printed editions of the Śiśupālavadha (X.13) the reading is hāvahāri, and also according to Mallinātha. But Bh.Nṛ.’s pratīka in all the MSS. is bhāvahāri.
