Sarvāṅgasundarā

tasya vigatajvarasya narasyaitāni lakṣaṇāni| yathā-deho laghurbhavati-na tu gātre gauravam| tathā, vyapagatāḥ-naṣṭāḥ, klamamohatāpā yasyāsau vyapagataklamamohatāpastadā sa sampadyate| tathā, asya mukhe-vadane, pākaḥ| karaṇānāṃ-cakṣurādīnāṃ, sauṣṭhavaṃ-pāṭavaṃ, jāyate| tathā, avyathatvādayo+asya bhavanti| prakṛtyā yogaḥ prakṛtiyogaḥ,-svabhāvena sambandhaḥ| prakṛtiyogo yasyāsti manasastat prakṛtiyogi| yādṛgyasya cittaṃ pūrvaṃ rajobahulaṃ tamobahulaṃ vā āsīt tādṛk tasya sampadyata ityarthaḥ| tathā, annalipsā-annābhilāṣaḥ| saṅgrahe ca nakṣatrasamāśrayaṇena ca sādhyāsādhyajvaralakṣaṇamuktam| yathā (ni. a. 1)- "ādhānajanmanidhanapratyarākhyavipatkare| nakṣatre vyādhirutpannaḥ kleśāya maraṇāya vā|| jvarāstu jātaḥ ṣaḍrātrādaśvinīṣu nivartate| bharaṇīṣu tu pañcāhātsaptāhātkṛttikāsu ca|| trisaptarātrādathavā rohiṇyāmaṣṭarātrataḥ| ekādaśādvā divasānmṛge ṣaṇṇavarātrayaḥ|| pañcāhānmṛtyurārdrāyāṃ tripakṣe saṃśayo+athavā| punarvasau pravṛttastu jvaro+apaiti trayodaśāt|| divasātsaptaviṃśādvā hyahātsaptāhato+athavā|| puṣye śleṣāsu maraṇaṃ cireṇā+api maghāsu ca|| avaśyaṃ svāsthyamāpnoti dvādaśāhānmṛto na cet| phalgunyoḥ pūrvayormṛtyuranyayostu dine+aṣṭame|| navame+ahnyekaviṃśe vā jvaraḥ saumyatvamṛcchati| hastena saptame śāntiścitrāyāmaṣṭame+athavā|| punaścitrāgame svātau daśāhādathavā tribhiḥ| pakṣairmṛtyuṃ viśākhāsu dvāviṃśe+ahani nirdiśet|| navame+ahni na cecchāntirmaitre mṛtyustataḥ param| jyeṣṭhāyāṃ pañcame mṛtyurūrdhvaṃ vā dvādaśātsukham|| svāsthyaṃ daśāhānmūlena trisaptāhe+athavā gate| pūrvāṣāḍhāsu navame tato+anyāsu tu māsataḥ|| aṣṭābhirathavā māsairnavabhirvā bhavecchivam| [jvarastu śraveṇe yāti śāntimekādaśāhataḥ|| ] ājyeṣṭhāhāddhaniṣṭhāsu daśāhādvāruṇeṣu tu| ṣaḍahe dvādaśāhe vā mṛtyurbhādrapadāsu ca|| uttarāsu dvisaptāhāt praśamo, revatīṣu ca| catūrātre+aṣṭarātre vā kṣemamityāha hāritaḥ||" iti| jvara ityupalakṣaṇam| prāyaḥ sarvo vyādhiranayā diśā+anusṛto bodhyaḥ kṣipraciramokṣāya jīvitāntāya vā| ādhānaṃ-janmarkṣāddaśamaṃ nakṣatram| vipatkaraṃ-tṛtīyā tārā| pratyaraṃ-pañcamī| nidhānasaṃjñā-saptamī tārā smṛteti| atha, kiṃ nakṣatrasamāśrayeṇena jvarasya sādhyāsādhyavibhāgo+aṅgīkriyatāmuta yathānidānaṃ kupitadoṣalakṣaṇena ? brūmaḥ| ubhayathā+api| yato nakṣatraṃ trividhamapi prāktanasya karmaṇo daivākhyasya śubharūpasyāśubharūpasya śubhāśubharūpasya ca saumyakrūramadhyasvabhāvasūcakam| tatra saumyena nakṣatreṇa śubhaṃ, krūreṇāśubhaṃ, madhyasvabhāvena ca śubhāśubham| etaduktaṃ bhavati,-purātanakarmavaśānnakṣatreṇa jvara utpadyate, aihikakarmavaśānmithyāhārasevanākhyādyathānidānaṃ vātādikupitalakṣaṇena ca| tadanayorbalābalena jvarasya sādhyāsādhyavibhāgo vyavasthāpyaḥ| pratyapādi ca munibhiḥ| yathā (ca.vi.a.3)- "kadācitkarmaṇo balavattvaṃ kadācitpuruṣakārasya" ityubhayathā jvarasya sādhyāsādhyavibhāgo nyāyyaḥ| iti śrīmṛgāṅkadattaputraśrīmadaruṇadattaviracitāyāmaṣṭāṅgahṛdayaṭīkāyāṃ sarvāṅgasundarākhyāyāṃ tṛtīye nidānasthāne jvaranidānaṃ nāma dvitīyo+adhyāyaḥ samāptaḥ|| 2||
