199 apavṛjyate yena jñānena tasyāpi jñeyatantratvāt svātmani ca vṛttivirodhān na jñānārthatvam/ na bāhyaviṣayād asmād apavargasaṃbhavo videhaprakṛtilayānām apavargāsaṃbhavāt/ tasmāt tajjñānam api puruṣārtham eva na tat svārthaṃ nāpi paramātrārtham/ saṃhataparārthatve cānavasthāprasaṅgād asaṃhataparārthasiddhir iti //4.24//

viśeṣadarśina ātmabhāvabhāvanānivṛttiḥ //4.25//

tad evaṃ kaivalyamūlabījaṃ yuktimayam ātmadarśanam uktvā tadupadeśādhikṛtaṃ puruṣam anadhikṛtapuruṣāntarād vyāvṛttam āha --- viśeṣadarśina ātmabhāvabhāvanānivṛttiḥ/ yasyātmabhāve bhāvanāsti tasyāṣṭāṅgayogopadeśād anutiṣṭhato yuñjānasya tatparipākāc cittasattvapuruṣayor viśeṣadarśanād ātmabhāvabhāvanā nivartate/ yasyātmabhāvabhāvanaiva nāsti nāstikasya tasyopadeśānadhikṛtasyāpariniścitātmatatparalokabhāvasya nopadeśo na viśeṣadarśanaṃ nātmabhāvabhāvanānivṛttir iti sūtrārthaḥ/ nanv ātmabhāvabhāvanāyāś cittavartinyāḥ kuto+avagama ity ata āha --- yathā prāvṛṣīti/ prāgbhavīyaṃ tattvadarśanabījam apavargabhāgīyaṃ yat karmāṣṭāṅgayogānuṣṭhānaṃ tad ekadeśānuṣṭhānaṃ vā tadabhinirvartitam astīty anumīyate/ tasya cātmabhāvabhāvanāvaśyam eva svābhāvikī vastvabhyāsaṃ vināpi pravartate/ anadhikāriṇam āgamināṃ vacanena darśayati --- yasyābhāvād idam iti/ pūrvapakṣo nāsti karmaphalaṃ paralokino 'bhāvāt paralokābhāva iti, tatra rucir aruciś ca nirṇaye pañcaviṃśatitattvaviṣaye/
