tatra niratiśayaṃ sarvajñabījam //1.25//

evam asya kriyājñānaśaktau śāstraṃ pramāṇam abhidhāya jñānaśaktāv anumānaṃ pramāṇayati --- kiṃ ca --- tatra niratiśayaṃ sarvajñabījam/ vyācaṣṭe --- yad idam iti/ buddhisattvāvarakatamopagamatāratamyena yad idam atītānāgatapratyutpannānāṃ pratyekaṃ ca samuccayena ca vartamānānām atīndriyāṇāṃ grahaṇaṃ, tasya viśeṣaṇam alpaṃ bahv iti sarvajñabījaṃ kāraṇam/ kaścit kiṃcid evātītādi gṛhṇāti kaścid bahu kaścid bahutaraṃ kaścid bahutamam iti grāhyāpekṣayā grahaṇasyālpatvaṃ bahutvaṃ kṛtam/ etad vivardhamānaṃ yatra niṣkrāntam atiśayāt sa sarvajña iti/ tad anena prameyamātraṃ kathitam/ atra pramāṇayati --- asti kāṣṭhāprāptiḥ sarvajñabījasyeti/ sādhyanirdeśaḥ/ niratiśayatvaṃ kāṣṭhā/ yataḥ param atiśayavattā nāstīti/ tena nāvadhimātreṇa siddhasādhanam/ sātiśayatvād iti hetuḥ/ yad yat sātiśayaṃ tat tat sarvaṃ niratiśayaṃ, yathā kuvalāmalakabilveṣu sātiśayaṃ mahattvam ātmani niratiśayam iti vyāptiṃ darśayati --- parimāṇavat/ na ca garimādibhir guṇair vyabhicāra iti sāṃpratam/ na khalv avayavagarimātiśayī garimāvayavinaḥ kiṃ 29 tvā paramāṇubhya āntyāvayavibhyo yāvantaḥ kecana teṣāṃ pratyekavartino garimṇaḥ samāhṛtya garimā vardhamānābhimānaḥ/ jñānaṃ tu na pratijñeyaṃ samāpyata ity ekadvibahuviṣayatayā yuktaṃ sātiśayam iti na vyabhicāraḥ/ upasaṃharati --- yatra kāṣṭheti/ nanu santi bahavas tīrthakarā buddhārhatakapilarṣiprabhṛtayas tat kasmāt ta eva sarvajñā na bhavanty asmād anumānād ity ata āha --- sāmānyeti/ kutas tarhi tadviśeṣapratipattir ity ata āha --- tasyeti/ buddhādipraṇīta āgamābhāso na tv āgamaḥ, sarvapramāṇabādhitakṣaṇikanairātmyādimārgopadeśakatvena vipralambhakatvād iti bhāvaḥ/ tena śrutismṛtītihāsapurāṇalakṣaṇād āgamata āgacchanti buddhim ārohanti asmād abhyudayaniḥśreyasopāyā ity āgamaḥ, tasmāt saṃjñādiviśeṣapratipattiḥ/ saṃjñāviśeṣaḥ śiveśvarādiḥ śrutyādiṣu prasiddhaḥ/ ādipadena ṣaḍaṅgatādaśāvyayate saṃgṛhīte/ yathoktaṃ vāyupurāṇe ---

"sarvajñatā tṛptir anādibodhaḥ svatantratā nityam aluptaśaktiḥ/ anantaśaktiś ca vibhor vidhijñāḥ ṣaḍ āhur aṅgāni maheśvarasya"//vāyupurāṇam 12.31

tathā ---

"jñānaṃ vairāgyam aiśvaryaṃ tapaḥ satyaṃ kṣamā dhṛtiḥ/ sraṣṭṛtvam ātmasaṃbodho hy adhiṣṭhātṛtvam eva ca// avyayāni daśaitāni nityaṃ tiṣṭhanti śaṃkare"vāyupurāṇam 10.60 iti/

syād etat, nityatṛptasya bhagavato vairāgyātiśayasaṃpannasya svārthe tṛṣṇāsaṃbhavāt kāruṇikasya ca sukhaikatānajanasarjanaparasya duḥkhabahulajīvalokajananānupapatter aprayojanasya ca prekṣāvataḥ pravṛttyanupapatteḥ kriyāśaktiśālino+api na jagatkriyety ata āha --- tasyātmānugrahābhāve+apīti/ bhūtānāṃ prāṇinām anugrahaḥ prayojanaṃ, śabdādyupabhogavivekakhyātirūpakāryakaraṇāt kila caritārthaṃ cittaṃ nivartate/ tataḥ puruṣaḥ kevalī bhavati/ atas tatprayojanāya kāruṇiko vivekakhyātyupāyaṃ kathayati/ tenācaritārthatvāc cittasya jantūnīśvaraḥ puṇyāpuṇyasahāyaḥ sukhaduḥkhe bhāvayann api nākāruṇikaḥ/ vivekakhyātyupāyakathanāya 30 bhūtānugrahaṃ dvāram āha --- jñānadharmopadeśeneti/ jñānaṃ ca dharmaś ca jñānadharmau tayor upadeśena jñānadharmasamuccayāl labdhavivekakhyātiparipākāt kalpapralaye brahmaṇo dināvasāne yatra satyalokavarjaṃ jagad astameti/ mahāpralaye sasatyalokasya brahmaṇo+api nidhane saṃsāriṇaḥ svakāraṇagāmino 'tas tadā maraṇaduḥkhabhājaḥ, kalpety upalakṣaṇam anyadāpi svārjitakarmapākavaśena janmamaraṇādibhājaḥ puruṣānuddhariṣyāmīti kaivalyaṃ prāpya puruṣā uddhṛtā bhavantīty arthaḥ/ etac ca karuṇāprayuktasya jñānadharmopadeśanaṃ kāpilānām api siddham ity āha --- tathā coktaṃ pañcaśikhācāryeṇa --- ādividvān kapila iti/ ādividvān iti pañcaśikhācāryavacanam ādimuktasvasaṃtānādiguruviṣayaṃ na tv anādimuktaparamaguruviṣayam/ ādimukteṣu kadācin mukteṣu vidvatsu kapilo+asmākam ādividvān muktaḥ sa eva ca gurur iti/ kapilasyāpi jāyamānasya maheśvarānugrahād eva jñānaprāptiḥ śrūyata iti/ kapilo nāma viṣṇor avatāraviśeṣaḥ prasiddhaḥ/ svayaṃbhūs tu hiraṇyagarbhaḥ/ tasyāpi sāṃkhyayogaprāptir vede śrūyata iti/ sa eveśvara ādividvān kapilo viṣṇur na svayaṃbhūr iti bhāvaḥ/ svāyaṃbhuvānāṃ tv īśvara iti bhāvaḥ //1.25//
