102 tad idam uktasyottaraṃ na yudhiṣṭhirasya svabodhaṃ saṃkrāmayati --- svabodho hy asya hastihananaviṣaya indriyajanmā, na cāsau saṃkrāntaḥ kiṃ tv anya eva tasya tanayavadhabodho jāta iti/ bhrāntā vā bhrāntijā vā, bhrāntiś ca vivakṣāsamaye vā jñeyārthāvadhāraṇasamaye vā/ pratipattyā vandhyā pratipattivandhyā yathārthān prati mlecchabhāṣā pratipattivandhyā, niṣprayojanā vā syād iti yathānapekṣitābhidhānā vāk tatra hi paratra svabodhasya saṃkrāntir apy asaṃkrāntir eva niṣprayojanatvād iti/ evaṃlakṣaṇam api satyaṃ parāpakāraphalaṃ satyābhāsaṃ na tu satyam ity āha --- eṣeti/ tadyathā satyatapasas taskaraiḥ sārthagamanaṃ pṛṣṭasya sārthagamanābhidhānam iti/ abhidhīyamānoccāryamāṇā/ śeṣaṃ sugamam/ abhāvasya bhāvādhīnanirūpaṇatayā steyalakṣaṇam āha --- steyam aśāstrapūrvakam iti/ viśeṣeṇa sāmānyaṃ lakṣyata ity arthaḥ/ mānasavyāpārapūrvakatvād vācanikakāyikavyāpārayoḥ prādhānyān manovyāpāra ukto+aspṛhārūpam iti/ brahmacaryasvarūpam āha --- gupteti/ saṃyatopastho+api hi strīprekṣaṇatadālāpakandarpāyatanatadaṅgasparśanasakto na brahmacaryavān iti tannirāsāyoktaṃ guptendriyasyeti/ indriyāntarāṇy api tatra lolupāni rakṣaṇīyānīti/ aparigrahasvarūpam āha --- viṣayāṇām iti/ tatra saṅgadoṣa ukto bhogābhyāsam anu vivardhante rāgāḥ kauśalāni cendriyāṇām iti, hiṃsālakṣaṇaś ca doṣo nānupahatya bhūtāny upabhogaḥ saṃbhavatīti/ aśāstrīyāṇām ayatnopanatānām api viṣayāṇāṃ ninditapratigrahādirūpārjanadoṣadarśanāc chāstrīyāṇām apy upārjitānāṃ ca rakṣaṇādidoṣadarśanād asvīkaraṇam aparigrahaḥ //2.30//
